Illumina cfDNA 16plex automation for NIPT on an Hamilton NGS STAR workstation

Hamilton has now automated the Illumina’s low-throughput NIPT protocol to achieve an accurate, reliable and easy solution which can cope with the most common clinical needs: standardization and traceability of samples and reagents.

This method has been functionally validated by independent library preparations, which yielded an average of 50.4 nM ± 11.8.
The automation of NIPT 16plex protocol offers the advantage to standardize the procedure, minimize failure rate, assure reproducibility and workflow traceability.

The method was performed on an Hamilton NGS STAR workstation (Autoload version).
